1. Who are we?

We are Raft Suppression – RAFT is a maritime company specialized in fire suppression systems. We are located in Tønsberg, the oldest city in Norway. Our team has more than a decade of experience with new builds, conversions, and service.

The personal information we have access to will primarily be used to communicate with you, for the administration of inquiries, and for example, information sharing via newsletters. Information about your use of our services may also be utilized in our work for service improvement and statistics associated with it.

In general, we will only process personal information about you that is necessary to administer direct inquiries or to fulfill the obligations we have undertaken in forms.

The personal information will typically include name, address, phone number, and email address. We do not generally process sensitive personal information about our users.

The source of the information we have about our users will normally be the users themselves, as the user provides information during online registration.

We may send various types of inquiries to you up to 3 years after your last contact with us, unless other contact indicates that the contact may be considered as ongoing or terminated.

In such cases, we will ensure that all information is processed fully in accordance with the purpose and that our suppliers take responsibility for maintaining information security in accordance with the requirements and rules in force at any given time.

We may use suppliers (subcontractors) who assist us in processing personal information. This only occurs where necessary for you to access the relevant service. Otherwise, personal information will not be shared with others.


9. How and for how long do we store your personal information?

Personal information is stored for as long as necessary based on the purpose of the processing, and it will then be deleted. Personal information collected in connection with the use of our services is stored electronically with data security in local IT systems.


You can request the deletion of information related to you at any time, unless it is legally required to retain the information for a certain period (e.g., legal claims, accounting laws, etc.).

You have the right to be informed about the processing of personal information concerning you. This document is therefore available on our website, with a link to the pages where you can register information about yourself. For users who are in contact with us in other ways, it should be noted that this information is available when the information is collected.

  • demand correction or removal of inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated personal information

Measures include regular risk assessments, technical systems, and physical procedures to ensure information security, as well as procedures to verify requests for access and correction.
